How we grade
Our grades describe cosmetic condition only. Every handset we ship is function-tested regardless of grade: screen, cameras, speakers, mics, buttons, charging, Face ID or fingerprint, and cellular. A Grade D phone works exactly as well as a Grade A one — it just looks like it has had a life.

Grade A
Like new. No visible wear at arm's length.
Indistinguishable from new in normal use. No scratches on the display, no dents or chips on the frame. Battery health 90% or above. Supplied in 5M packaging with a new cable.

Light wear, visible only at an angle.
Light micro-scratches on the display or frame that catch the light but are invisible in normal use. No dents or cracks. Battery health 85% or above.

Grade D
Heavy cosmetic damage. Fully functional.
Heavy scratching, dents, or cracked back glass. The display is intact and all functions are tested and working. Sold in lots for parts recovery or heavy refurbishment.

- All physical buttons and switches

- Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS
- Battery health reported per unit
- Activation lock cleared (no iCloud or Google lock)
- IMEI checked against blacklist databases
Mixed-grade lots
Grade C and D stock is sold in lots of five or more and is usually bought for refurbishment or parts recovery. If you want a specific grade mix across a larger order, tell us what you need and we will quote it rather than making you build it SKU by SKU.
